What we collect
We store the name and email address you provide, along with account settings, saved preferences and security session records. Passwords are stored as salted one-way hashes, not readable text. If you turn on two-step sign-in, the authenticator key is stored encrypted. Messages you send to support are kept so we can answer them.
Visits and location
To understand how Punt-X is used, we count page views. We do not store your IP address: each visitor is counted with a code that is scrambled with a secret and changes every day, together with the page, the type of device and the approximate country, region and city your connection comes from. For signed-in accounts we also keep the most recent approximate location, to help protect accounts and plan for where our users are.
Adults only
Punt-X is for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger; if you believe someone under 18 has an account, tell us and we will remove it.
Why we use it
We use account data to sign you in, save preferences, protect the service, support your account and improve the product. We do not sell personal information.
Sharing and retention
Data is shared only with infrastructure providers needed to run Punt-X or when required by law. We retain it while your account is active and remove account data when you delete your account, subject to limited legal or security retention requirements.
Your choices
You can update profile information, control match alerts, turn two-step sign-in on or off, sign out, or permanently delete your account from Profile. For anything else, contact support. Essential cookies are used to keep your session secure.
